About The Midnight Special Blues Club

It`s a long time since the first show presented by The Midnight Special Blues Club in the autumn of 2014. The vision of The Sepia Swing Show Twins David Raphael (harmonica, vocals, guitar) and Nick Hyde (guitar, vocals) was to bring the finest musicians to play acoustic blues and roots in a small room with a fantastic atmosphere and sound. The realisation of this dream has yielded a succession of truly amazing shows, with many more in the pipeline.

Veterans of the blues scene, Dave and Nick have the experience and the contacts to book the best acts and host a great show, typically bookending the headline act with some of their old time blues songs and anecdotes in a night that more often than not ends up with a classic jam.
